FCC GROL – General Radiotelephone Operator License (PG) – Elements 1 and 3 Online Exams

Why You Need This

The General Radiotelephone Operator License (PG), known as the GROL, is a crucial credential for individuals entrusted with the adjustment, maintenance, or internal repair of FCC-licensed radiotelephone transmitters in aviation, maritime, and international fixed public radio services.

It is required to operate compulsorily equipped ship radiotelephone stations with a peak envelope power exceeding 1500 watts and voluntarily equipped ship and aeronautical (including aircraft) stations with more than 1000 watts of peak envelope power.

Holding the PG license grants full operational authority equivalent to that of the MP license.

The GROL – General Radiotelephone Operator License (PG) product includes access to one attempt for each of the following FCC Elements: (1) FCC Element 1 and (1) FCC Element 3.

These online exams have a maximum testing time of two hours for each FCC Element.
