Getting your captain's license through us is a straightforward process. First, you’ll complete our online course and pass the proctored exam. Once you pass the exam, we’ll issue you a Mariners Learning System certificate, which is recognized by the United States Coast Guard.
To obtain your official captain's license, simply submit the original certificate along with your application package and applicable fees to the USCG National Maritime Center within one year. After they review and approve your submission, they will send you your official Coast Guard license.
